anyone have an idea what a 63 falcon futura 2dht is worth. the car I looked at is a california car, looks to have no rust,(but you never know until you tear it apart) original 260V8 is gone, it has a 302.auto, bench seat, car is all there, but is in need of total restoration. could be a daily driver as is, if you didn't mined some upholstery rips, roof liner is shot, paints not bad, but an unrestored car over all. what would you pay?
It's worth a few hundred as daily driver basic transportation. If you plan on restoring it, free is to much. You can buy a restored one for a fraction of what it costs to do one. Let someone else take the financial hit.
Old cars like that are never worth what scrap is on them, I would say it would be worth at least 1000 if it runs and is in half decent shape. Up here in saskatchewan, you would rarely find a car like that for under 1000, and it would have alot more rust.

well this car lot must be out to lunch, their asking 6600.00 for it. it sure is a cool looking little car. I use to be a chevy muscle car guy all the way but if your comparing this compact to the same chevy compact(63 nova) the falcon has it beat hands down, theres a lot more car to the falcon than theres is in a nova

Where you at in Saskatchewan. I used to live there now I am in Illinois. You are right about the rust..
For a car needing complete restoration, $6600.00 would be about double it's real value.... Some fool at the car lot is looking at the value of the car in restored condition and has the ridiculous idea that it can be a perfect car for $1000.00. Worst part is, some fool will probably come along and plunk down the $6600 !!!!!!
