Ford racing FR100

Can anybody offer any insight or experience of trying to do something like this without Ford's kind of budget? http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2...00/index.shtml

Why, you weren't the one who bought the sister truck last week at the J-B auction for a cool 1/4 mil?
Something similar could easily be built for a LOT less$, how much it would cost would depend on how much work you could do yourself and how much you'd need the services of others, and which engine you selected, and what exactly is the most important parameters.

Most of us work the other way - we have a budget, and want to know what we can do for that amount of money.

btw, most of us lie to ourselves, and the project is at least twice as expensive as we planned - but it is spread over years and it is less likely the significant other half will get wise to just how much we have spent on "that old truck."

My significant other never knows what I spend on my projects. If she did, she probably wouldn't be my significant other.Jeff

Can't afford the Ford budget, try a Roush Racing budget.

I don't keep track - if I knew just what I spend on this hobby I would likely junk it and take a cruise around the world every year!

Ax-You have a good one, you might want to keep her around. Mine is not bad when it comes to it all, She just says-Well we dont have it now, but how much do you need? She tries, But if she only knew-I bet she knows were every penny has been spent on mine, I don't keep track. She does say "At least I know where you are and what you are doing, and that is better than a 18 year old tramp."
