Hi, I have a question, right now on my 2000 Excursion Limited, I have the climate controls as (3) *****. On my buddies Excursion, he has the digital automatic controls. (His is an '01) Are those units interchangeable, because I can get one that was available for my truck... Thanks

Sorry, but this is not going to be a simple swap. In addition to the control head, the auto-temp system uses an inside temp sensor, and outside temp sensor, a module to control fan speed, and some Ford auto-temp systems also use a sun load sensor. So simply swapping the controls is not going to make your current system automatic, it also will likely make your system not work at all.

In addition to all of that, there may be a significant number of electrical connections that are not there on your Excursion.
