Does anyone know when Ford went into production with its first extended cab pick-up? I think it is somewhere mid 70s, but I can't seem to find any literature on it. No the crew cab though, the extended cab.
Thanks,

1974 according to my dad. Mine is a 74 ranger xlt supercab. He says it is the first year for the supercab and that the truck is rare being a supercab ranger xlt with a automatic (that is the only thing I don't like about the truck)
Boy, people sure are digging deep into the archives today. You could first ORDER the SuperCab in January of 1974. Delivery was about 10 weeks out. So, the first ones would have been delivered about April '74.
