New guy , 1st new posting , first of all, all of you are awesome and very helpfull, there are things about Ford trucks I never new about until I found this great site.Thanks . Learning lots . Learned more in 1 day on this site than I did working 20 years on my truck . Here is the question , I bought some bbk 1515 shorty headers for my 302 1977 f-100 stepside 4 speed . The passenger side fits , the driver side hits the clutch linkage . I am going to get them fabbed or buy sandersons which ever cheaper . bbk $168 summit ,plus fab cost, sandersons $265 . The question is, is it ok to run 1 side header and 1 side stock exhaust manifold ? I am temp running 2 ft pipe to flows for now . Sound great but will it damage valves or anything? I hope not , need $ to finish project.Buy the way if anyone is looking for a header to fit a manual with clutch linkage problem , try sandersons out of s.san fran , they make the header on driver side to exit before linkage , just a little more pricy , try there website under ford trucks , ff3 is the part number and looks like they will fit , please help .
