to much vacuum/ carb issues
i have a vacuum gauge hooked up, it shows that when im idling taht its in the drivign range, and when i give it any gas at all it goes into the power range,
any idea what wrong, i think this had AC but its not hooked up now. i think.
i have very little history of the vehicle

ill check the numbers when i can tomarrow.
also the carb is definantly not running tip top,
it makes alot fo noise for one, and sprays gas mixture out the top when i press the gas pedal, i havent looked into it yet to see what problems it has, i do have a rebuild kit for it, but i just dont have anytime to do it at the moment.
the engien also has a miss on one or 2 cylinders
i just picked up the van from a friend to use to get where i need since i dont have a car anymore. im tryign to get it running properly again

im not sure if it is the stock carb, it is a motorcraft tho, im not sure if its 2 or 4bbl, ill check tomarrow,
the rebuild kit came with the van and i havent looked at it yet.
how hard will it be for me to rebuild the carb i havent rebuilt before, but i have worked on them. ive taken and worked on a single barrer out of a 63 f-100 (223 I-6) and a 2bbl out of a 351M 78 ltd
