Calibrating the dash speedometer
Okay, I recently took the gauge cluster out to change the guage face, I like the new look, problem is now the needle for the speedometer seems to be off quite a bit at higher speeds. When I set the needle to be dead on at 35, it is linear up to about 35, meaning going 15 the GPS reads 15, 25 the gps reads 25. Problem at 50 mph according to dash, GPS is reading 46-47, at 75 according to speedo, gps says I am only going 63-64, and it definately feels like I am only going 60 as well. All of the shift points are at the right RPMs, I am still going 70 according to the GPS @ 2000 rpms. So I don't think reprogramming the PCM will help here, is there a way to reprogram or calibrate the actual gauge cluster?
