98 Speedo gear

Does anyone know what size speedometer gear I would need to correct my speedometer? The stock tire size is 235/70/16 and I got 265/75/16 now with the 3.55 rear end. It would be the same size as the stock 17" tires. I went to the dealer today and they told me I had to take my speedo gear out and count the teeth and go from there, so before I do that I was wondering if anyone knew what the 17" wheels with the 3.55 rear end is?

Wow..>All that for different gears and tire size? What ever happened to plugging into the puter and making the speedo changes there?
