If you can wait a few months, you can see my 94 teal flareside with a D44 SFA/9" rear, 6" lift and...still debating tire options at the moment. Probably a set of 34" mudders and 35" street tires.

Search for "Dick Cepek Lifts" on google in the "images" tab and on the first page second column is a pic of a 92-96 Flareside with 6" Cepek Stage II lift and a sweet bumper. Mine's a supercab though..bit more wheelbase.

Or are you looking for pictures of 97+ F150's?

But if you go into the 80-86 forum there's a thread called something like "Flareside owners unite, Show off your flares" Theres a acouple nicer ones in there.

is it stepside, or flareside, and is styleside plain????

Hey, I'm new here tonight, I've searched the galleries, and the internet, and I can't find a truck like mine. I'm wondering if it came factory like this or if it's been tinkered with. It's the 5.4 L 4X4 supercab, step-or-flareside?? any info would be great. i will get a lift kit this coming spring, ext cab looks too long without one. If you search the gallery for 2002 f150 4X4, it's at the top. any pics of yours? justin

I thought the newer ones were considered stepsides? Like 97-up are stepsides, while 96-down were all Flaresides.

appreciate the replies

Thanks for the thoughts, every time i find a stepside, it's 2 wheel drive or not ext cab, i'd like to get the bars that run along the top sides of the box, bedrails, any brands to look up, or web-sites?

that makes flareside94, i think the pre-97 didn't have a step in the box, more like a normal box with flared out wheel wells.

Mine has steps front and rear. The front (next to cab) have small black covers (one on the "step" of the bed, the other perpendicular to the ground on the backside of the cab) and the rear only has one small step that runs into the bumper that also has the black plastic cover on it. It says "Flareside" on the badge though. I thought the stepside was the quasi-flare of the 97-up where it doesn't specifically flare, just tapes back in at the front and back with a small step. It doesn't have the defined flare over the tire. Also, I think the 97 and up stepside and fleetsides have the same bed construction throughout. My 94 (As with other 92-96) has fiberglass outers for the Flare and outside of the bed, while the inside is the same metal as the fleetside has. Hence, my 89 2WD could plow wherever it wanted easily, while my 94 has to have 4WD locked in to move in the snow, the bed is significantly lighter.
