The COLD, HARD Numbers
Well, seeing as how I had nothing to do today I was looking through and updating the Chapter list. I went through and see how many members we active as well. So here are the numbers...
Members than have been on FTE in the last MONTH: 61
Members that have been on FTE in the last 1-2 months: 14
Members that have NOT been on FTE in OVER 2 months: 55
So I am wondering what should be the process to try to "win back" these users. Some of them obviously won't come back because they only had 1 post and it was 2 years ago. They have probably "moved on".
Ideas?

Can You get the site to automatically email dormant accounts reminding them to participate in FTE, (insert virtues of site here). If they are not interested ask them to release their account so that the username is available.
You could say FTE is holding a draw and the winner gets a date with Al?? LOL
Probably have the opposite effect.

I don't think that would be a good idea!
There is no way to automatically email people if they are dormant. I would have to do it manually. But, I have been thinking about doing that. I would maybe email all the people I have on my list that haven't been active. If they don't reply back within 3 weeks or so then I could delete them off the Members list.
They don't lose their account or anything, it just makes it so we know who the ACTIVE FTE users from Ontario are. And not just in THIS forum but the whole website.

Are You Guys Really That Bored !!!!!!!!
FRANK.............Get away from the computer. I think I hear your life calling.
Anybody that needs to follow Franks lead............Think back to his Chrismas tree hunt that pretty much wound him up lost & running low on fuel!!!!!
Good Grief!!!!!!!
.,
OK, back to business.......
Everybody look at the members list......
Matt will pick names of active members and give them a group of members, eg. "A's", "B's", "C's", to send them an email or PM & tell them about how we are trying to gather the most club members at Arthur this summer. Be creative.......poke, prod, lasoo, hogtie, dangle a carrot or use any means you think will work to get them to at least come back & post if they are unable to attend Arthur.
OK, I need a nap now.
AL.

You have got to know what ones to send them to. Click their username and in the right hand side it will say when they last logged on. Only send out messages to users that have no logged on since December 1, 2005.
I would recommend sending the message to their email. If you send them a PM they might not get it (some people don't have it set up to notify them if they get a PM). If they don't have email setup then send a PM.
Thanks AL.
