Engine died while going 45-50 mph last night, pulled over, would not start, no click or clicking noise at all, just a single "klunk" when try to start, checked battery charge today - it's good, took alternator to be checked, it's good, when try to jump start, still no click sound, just the same single "klunk", cleaned battery posts today, was able to rotate crankshaft pulley with braker bar, so engine is not seized, all accessories work except have had numerous electrical problems over the last 2 years, interior lights coming and going, driver window didn't work for about a year, but came back a month or 2 ago, rear wiper did same, but on different timeline, door ajar dashboard light comes on and off by itself even when all doors are shut, alternator guy suggested it may be battery cable or ground issue, but it was dark when I got back, so haven't had a chance to check those out, I am not an electrical guru, so this is out of my confort zone, could all these issues be related? We really NEED this vehicle moving so any help would be greatly appreciated, I am stumped, thanks!
