Engine Block Numbers
Hey,
I've just inherited (sort of) a 302. It's going into a "75 Bronco Sport. But I would like to know more about it. Horsepower, what it came out of, etc.
Numbers by starter are C8OE-6015-A. cant find any on heads or manifold.
ANY help appreciated.

Engine Block Numbers
You have a 1968-69 standard 302 out of a car (the truck blocks were C8TE and C9TE, and the Boss 302 blocks were C8FE and C9ZE). No way to know exactly what it came out of, though exhaust manifolds would be a good clue if you have them. My references indicate factory HP rating of 210 @ 4400 rpm (gross, not SAE net) with a standard 2v intake, and torque of 295 @ 2400 (69) or 300 @ 2600 (68).
