Turn signal switch
I have a bad one on my '70.The truck is just now finished but my brake lights are weak.Traced it to the turn signal switch.I see that the prob is the contact surface is wore bad.How do i replace this sucker?Do you cut the wires a few inshes from the plug and pull up through column?
Also, where does a man find a new one?I have a parts truck, will go up and check it's switch i guess??
Any temperary fixes?
THanks for any experience with this.

66F100s Rule
In the cool still quiet of night you can hear chevies rusting away.
Then attach one of the wires to a pull wire and feed them all up through the column and out. Attach the pull wire to the wires on your new switch, and pull them down through the column. Plug each wire into the appropriate place on the two plugs, reassemble the wheel, and you're done.
