Help with clutch linkage...

I installed a 3" body lift. It threw off the alignment for the rod that pushes on the clutch fork. The clutch fork would have to be about 2.5" longer. Has this happened to anyone? Is there a longer clutch fork I can use?

You need to build a longer rod between the pedal hanger and the equalizer bar. Just cut the one you have and weld in a 3" section.

Wouldn't I have to move the equalizer bar if I did that? I'm talking about the adjusting rod that comes off the equalizer bar.

the equalizer bar and clutch fork are designed for a pretty strait inline movement and you wont have that the way it is now. the stock length rod is pulling one side of the equalizer bar up and leaving the gap between it and the clutch fork.

This is why body lifts are allways a bad idea. you need to lengthen the rod between the pedal hanger and the equalizer bar, and everything will line up.
