Big Diff problems
My trucks rear diff is gone and I need some help. I have a 78 f-150 super cab 351 4 speed standard w/ the 4x4 I use this bad boy for work and need some answers, I used search but found different answers. I need the size or model number for the rear drive line. I messed up the Diff, It ran w/ no gear oil and messed up some gears inside, looks like molasses in there. This problem started when I snapped the yoke and dragged the driveline. The bouncing must have bent the driveline; I replaced the yoke but never replaced the driveline or the diff front gasket. This caused the diff to leak because the driveline shook, now I’m paying for it. Maybe someone can sell me a rear end or a driveline.
