In reading the 73-79 forums I see several references to a * Highboy* f-150 4x4.
Would someone tell me what Highboy means?

The FAQ thread at the top of the forum goes into detail about Highboys. 'Highboy' is a non-Ford nickname given to the 67-77 F250 4x4 pickups because they sat so high from the factory. It was not an option package or special suspension - all 67-77 F250 4x4s were made that way.
