Master cyl question

anyone here swapped a newer single tank master cyl onto their older ford?

i dont know what years they came on , but i know they were on 92-97 trucks at least

im on my second stock MC and the stupid thing is leaking again

would the late model one bolt on, will it work with the stock prop valve ok?

im too porr to do hydro boost

I don't know about using it with the vacuum booster but I don't see why not. I'm running one with my hydro-boost and FWIW I didn't touch my proportioning valve:

It sure is nice not having to hassle with seperate fluid chambers.

cool....i read the brake upgrade article on here, but im unclear abouta few things....i think i already have the bigger bore master cyl because of the dual piston calipers....so that means the dual diaphram f350 booster is a bolt on upgrade?? correct?

my next question is: what newer model master cyl would i need to have the same bore size as my current one?

thanks ivan

why would it matter? i mean the prop valve does the work of directing the fluid so what would the difference be b/t a single and a double m/c?
