Hey Morris, I've been busy for the last week so it's my 1st night cruising in awhile. This is a good idea for a weekly thread. There's lots of things on ebay from junk to concourse mint but wasn;t it cool to check out all those Fairlanes and Ranchero's a couple of weeks ago. Now that's something that was different and for me fun to look at. You can go on any day of the week and find a single ranchero for sale but to find 25 or so being sold as a lot . Now that was cool. It got my attention and made me look.
Of course I suggest this and have not been on Ebay in a week so I have nothing to offer other than my 2 cents of opinion.

TFC, it`s interesting to look at Ebay even though most of the items are beyond a practical distance. Sometimes it would be better to buy a finished truck and it would be less money most of the time. It`s too late for me because I have afew on the go but that is an option next time, especially with our dollar gaining in value. It`s nice to dream about rust free vintage tin south of the border.
Thanks for dropping in. I see you have an 86 Mustang convertible. I have a red/ with a white top 83 5.0/4 speed convertible with 100,000 kms showing.
Mine is silver with the black GT stripe and a black top. 5.0, 5speed. Its lot of fun. I had an 84 hatchback and sold it to upgrade to the vert. It was a basket case when I got it but is respectable for now. Good from afar but far from mint. We use it to hit DQ on the weekends. I stuck 16" pony rims on it 2 years ago with some chubby Goodyears and it made a big difference in handling and looks. The thing I love about these 5.0's is the bolt on stuff is plentiful and easy to install. I find now that the tuners are so popular its easier to get used 5.0 stuff that folks are unloading. Fine by me...
Have you had any problems with your 4 barrel. I found mine on my 84 was moody. I have some pics somewhere I will post them up in my gallery when I get a second.
Silver with the black GT stripe and a black top, 5.0, 5 speed would be sweet. I had a white 88 GT Cobra with a red interior. As much as I liked the colour that did suite the car after awhile I wished it to be silver or a grey even though white was my favorite colour for an 88 GT, the white seemed too plain. It was a very clean, fully loaded car I bought as an insurance write off. I repaired it, it was a great car with up to 30 mpg on a trip. On my 83 I have 16" pony rims, a big difference in handling and looks from the small goofy 14'' with the even goofier factory wire wheel covers that came with the car. It is totaly stock other than the wheels and the Pioneer cassette deck. No problems yet with the 4 barrel, works great. The car shows only 100,340 kms. Other than a new starter last spring evrything seems fine with it. It has p/w, cruise and tilt wheel and no a/c. One of the few things I would like to change on the 83 is to put headers, a dual exhaust and a 5 speed to replace the factory 4 speed. I have an 83 GT and an 81 Mustang Ghia with factory air for parts cars.
Forget your wallet, remember that it`s just a parts car so your begging personality might do it. First I would have to convince myself to part with it.
Hmm convincing is easy, usually convincing comes after12, maybe 18 beers> the trick is not drinking more then a few beers myself, just to keep my persuading abilities haha
