My wife and I were shopping at Menards yesterday and I ran across a scrap bin of wood. I found a nice 2x12 about 46" for $1.69. Then I bought 2 heavy duty bicycle hangers the type that screw into a rafter $.79 a piece. I screwed the hangers in the plank 38" apart and 3.5" from the edge. TA-DA instant work platform, that hangs from the tow hooks on the front of my truck.
I've got a drawing of it in my gallery. I will get some real pictures up soon.

Good thinking... and stay tuned - today I am in the process of welding up a ladder/platform to use for fixing my oil leak next weekend. ANYTHING is better than laying on that motor for a few hours!! I'll post some pics if I get it done today!!
