Is there a known or common place for this leak from on the right side? It's in a 91 F-250 with 110,000 miles, was coming home from plowing all night, about six miles from home the engines clutch fan kicks in, kinda normal with plow hung on warmer days. Get home and park it, and it was leaking a small amount of atf.
Checked fluid and still full on stick.
Are there any vents on the passenger side of the trans that it maybe got a little warm and spit some fluid out? Are cooler lines hoses coming off tranny? It also started to shift hard between second and third sometimes in the last five or six hundred miles.
This truck has had the fluid dropped in all boxs every two years since it was new. Haven't crawled under it yet, so I'm just seeing if there is a common failure I should be looking for.
