gear ratio?
my driveshaft has the tag:
FE-B ODB
L25 9 356A
what is my gear ratio and is it more freeway or Hauling/Pulling?
I have another question too. I hauled a yard of sand and it flattened the truck. what year/make model leafs should i swap out and put on the truck to haul much more? 70's f250's? 66 f250, 11 leafs?, Air shocks? or what? how much load could I carry when i add the leafs or airshocks?
thanx

A yard of sand is about all a 1/2 ton can handle. Be sure to put 55 to 60lbs. of air in the rear tires and 40 or so in the front when you put that kind of load on it. Don't forget to lower the pressures when the job is finished.
I would suggest that if you have to haul that kind of weight regularly you need a bigger truck. :-)
