For any of the long time users that have been on FTE you know that Michelle has had quite the medical problems with her 3 strokes and open heart surgery back in 2001 which essentially caused me end up on FTE.
It was great therapy at the time.
Well, last night at 9:00 pm shortly after arriving home after spending the afternoon in Calgary and visiting my cousin in a town nearby home, Michelle suffered another stroke.
This time I called an Ambulance because I immediately felt enormous stress come over me and I knew I couldn't handle this one alone.
She is presently in a hospital in Calgary and is expected be there for a while.
We are now 70 miles apart with her being alone and I can't leave the house for more than about 12 hours.
My mind is again crushed with the prospect of dealing with her suffering more brain damage.
She just turned 49.
Oh man Dennis... That is such bad news. Please don't let it get to you. Remember you must be there for her to help her thru this so keep yourself strong.

Dennis: I hope things work out for both of you. If you need to talk call my home phone. I believe you still have my number. If not, PM me. I should be home all day. Take care!
My thoughts are with you as well, Dennis. You have brought so much to this site and I feel as if you are family. Let me know if there's anything I can do for you. -Dan
Yes hottie, the animals.
I am presently trying to a sitter for tomorrow.
Some good news kinda this morning.
My sister in Calgary spent a few hours with her last night and explained, the CT scan done yesterday showed only the 3 previous strokes.
So this one wasn't major.
In most cases TIA's (which is what it was felt to be) don't show up on CTScans.
She is having an MRI done sometime today to check closer.
The 18 weeks of having a headache on a daily basis was always a concern for me and her doctors took it with a grain of salt.
Apparently last night she still figured she would be getting into her new apartment but talking with her Rehab leader this morning, they will have to re-access her to she if whe would be able to.She has already regained the strength in her leg but hasn't tried walking yet. Her right arm is still numb but when she touches something the sensation she feels is coldness.
Thank you all for your prayers & personal thoughts.
