Chin up there Dennis. You already know that life is what happens while you're making other plans. Hope you can find a sitter so you can spend every day with Michelle.

Dennis my friend, I'm truely sorry to hear about this. I know that you two have been thru quite a bit in the last few years. I believe that it helps to make you stronger even though it doesn't seem like it at the time. Please send Michelle our love and that we will be praying for both of you and wish you both the very best.

Jimmy

Well Everyone <> More good news.

I called her today and she walked to the nurses station to get the phone

The Results from the MRI say ,she definitely had s stroke and not a TIA.

The fact that she was walking is HUGE. she couldn't even control her leg at the time of the stroke never mind stand on it.

Her Right hand /Fingers is a different story though.
It appears they may stay numb like her left hand/fingers have since 2001.

She is in good spirits but I know she is very upset that another episode has happened.

It will be up to people other than me if she is able to do the apartment in Calgary thing yet she will need occupational therapy for this new injury now.

I am going to Calgary tomorrow to bring her toiletries so she can hopefully feel better.

Thanks for all the kind words

Well , Michelle was released yesterday and she is back home today.
She said she is looking forward to a good nights sleep.

She said, she "now has two useless hands" to try and live life, since the 1st stroke caused the left arm to be useless and now the right arm.

Eating, writing, opening doors, etc will be a huge undertaking for her now.

She wanted me to thank all of you for your kind thoughts & prayers this last week.

Well, at least she is back home now. Hopefully the "uselessness" (is that a word?) of her hand this time is temporary. Good luck Michelle!
