expedition cd changer removal

i have an 02 eb expedition with the cd changer in the console. I just installed an aftermarket cd player and want to remove the changer since it is taking up space and does not have any fuction for me

the changer should have plugs on it... you might have to unplug it from the back of the head unit and pull the wires all the way to the changer. then unmount it and ebay it
