IFS Rehab

My '92 F250HD 4WD with the Dana 50 IFS is due for new front suspension rubber bushings (getting some serious clunks and thuds these days). I'm going to have a local shop (Anderson Frame and Alignment, Garden Grove CA) do the work. They are also going to do some welding to secure the IFS to the frame (??). Any suggestions before I send it in?

I know it's a lot of money, but changing your shocks out at this point isn't a bad idea if you haven't done it already. They already have to pull them to get to the bushings.
