clutch vibration
i had the clutch replaced about 3 months ago. it has kinda a shimmy or vibration when you let out the clutch from a standing stop. it is really noticable when i am reverse. is this something that can be adjusted out or is it normal till it get several miles on it? thanks for any help ben

More than likely whoever did your clutch, didn't surface the flywheel. If you put a new clutch disk, and pressure plate on the same flywheel without surfacing it, it will still have the hot spots on it. Your new clutch will slip on them, and grab where it's not burnt. That will give you the jerking you are talking about.

That's called clutch chatter. I lived with it when I had a new clutch done a few years ago, and was determined to fix it when I had the engine out recently. I used a good quality clutch kit, had the flywheel resurfaced, and installed a new pilot bearing. It still chatters. I suspect a loose transmission bearing, but I'm not taking it apart again.
It's not normal, and it won't go away on its own.
