Question It won't start

I have an 02 F350 7.3 that will not start. Here is the history. Fri AM went to a meeting that lasted about 1.5 hour, cam out to the truck and it would not start. Drained the fule filter, thinking that it is bad fuel, and it started. Drove 25 miles back to the office without problems. Stayed at the office for about 4 hours, went to leave and it would not start. Drained the fuel many times with no affect. When the truck was new the Camshaft sensor went out so I went ahead and replaced it yesterday, still nothing. I checked the voltage on the relay and it reads about 10 volts. It is in the 60's so cold is not an issue. One thing, I read that you should pull the #9 fuse under the hood before changing the Cam Sensor, I can't find an under the hood fuse box, so I disconnected the batteries. Where is the fuse box under the hood, maybe the #9 fuse is blown. I know with all of the brain power out there someone can help me out. Thanks SWP

if your batteries are up and good try draining the fuel filter again and add a bottle of diesel fuel additive and see if it runs a while, maybe some nasty fuel. never heard of pulling fuse to replace CPS. good luck . might go over CPS and make sure its snug and plugged

I am going with a weak battery. Try testing them both, one bad cell will kill a diesel

One quick check on the batteries is to disconnect both batteries and check the voltage of each with a good meter. The readings should be close say+-400mV difference between the two. They should read approx. 12.5VDC individual.

Still Out

Thank you very much for the input. The batteries check out OK, and the oil level is good. Can someone tell me where the under to hood fuse box is?
Thanks
