Bogging down

Bogging down
My husband and I just bought an 86 Bronco today, and when we test drove it the guy told us sometimes it would bogg down on him, but he could shut it off and give some time and it would straighten right up. Well, tonight it started bogging on him and backfiring and then it just kept dying. He said it happened a few times and then it just straightened up and ran fine. Does anyone have any suggestions of what we could do or where to start. We were thinking the fuel filter, and we know it needs an Oxygen sensor, could that be the problem? It is Fuel injection not carb. Thanks so much,

I was thinking maybe an electrical shortage to the external fuel pump. I don't think it is water, the guy that had it before said it has done it for a little while. It also only does it once it gets warm and is ran for a while. Thanks

the TFI mounted on the Distributor sounds likes its bad. its the only part that will do that once the rig gets warmed up. also check for codes www.fordfuelinjection.com has pictures of the Tfi module and how to get the codes from the computer.

Bogging problem and Pic of new Truck
Hey, I just wanted to let you all know that it was the TPS that wasn't reading on the ground and making it bogg down. She's back to normal now, and I wanted to share a picture of our new family member. Thanks for all the help from everyone.

well we thought it was back to normal but it is doing the same thing on me again. It is bogging down once it is warmed up really good and it died on me too, so i guess i am going to have to change the tfi module in it and i am going to pu a new ignition switch in it today. If anybody else has any suggestions please let me hear them anything would help me out right now.
