Thermometer shuts off
OK, so this isn't my truck so I'm not sure exactly what the correct name of the option or indicator is but here goes. First of all, the truck is an '01 F350 diesel. My co worker says that shortly after he starts the rig, the readout that displays the outside temperature and such, shuts off. First thing I asked him was if somehow it got set to shut off and if he looked in the manual to see how to turn it back on. He said he hadn't messed with it and his wife didn't see anything in the manual regarding how to turn it on or off. Sounds like a on/off setting to me but thought I'd ask some pros. What could be causing this???
