96 explorer 4wd drive problems
I have the 4wd drive blinking light problems. I took out both speed sensors out of the transfer case and cleaned them and put fresh mercon in the transfer case. here are my problems If i come to a stop and put in into 4wd auto it will go into 4wd and stay there unless you go over 30 mph then the lights flash 6 times and it kicks out. If i put in into 4wd auto on the move there is nothing. If i put it into 4wd low I hear the transfer case shift and I am gear reduced but no power is put to the front wheels. I knew these electronic shift 4wd's would some day give me problems. Does anyone have any hints or ideas of what to look for. Thanks Todd
