Subwoofer not working

My 2001 expo Mach sound subwoofer amp just stopped working. took it out today.
Checked fuses (under hood and under dash) and cant see any blown, but dont know wich one specifically it is.
Anyone know how to test it? or how to test if it is getting power to it?
I'm told it gets constant power from one wire, and "turn on" power from another.
Does anyone know which wires in the fact. plug?
Dealer wants $140. for part.
Any sugestion where to get OEM cheaper.
Wiring is a pain in the A** with any aftermarket, so I just want to plug it in.
It was hard enough just to get it out.
Any help appreciated.

Does the amp have fuses in it? Check all wiring to from, voltmeter check the power wire, and the remote turn on wire. Check all wiring connections are tight. If everything is available wiring aftermarket wouldn't be bad at all.
