transmission shift problems
Hi, I have an 88 bronco II that recently developed shifting problems. It is a Al4d auto trans....after getting it state inspected, I drove away from the shop and it would not shift to 2nd gear until i got up to 4000 rpms. while in auto or auto overdrive....manually shifting from 1st to 2nd is no problem at all. As soon as i put it back into drive....it drops back to 1st gear unless my rpms are high enough....A new vacuum modulator was installed after this happened to no avail. still having the same problem....trans fluid is right on level and red clean..can anyone help...thanks...Carpo
