I just want to say I envy you guru's. I'm new to the FE world and only a closet mechanic at best. Try to learn as much as I can but am limited to what I can teach myself. This site is awesome and I've been reading a lot of the posts and some of you guys on here are just flat out amazing with your knowledge of these engines. I don't understand half your terminology but I'm definitely paying attention. Thanks guys.....
just remember (when in doubt ask) the people here never seem to judge the questions, well mabye a couple. the way to tell these from the real ford guys is to see if they really do it. i have found that some people are only paper smart not real world smart.
I did two 390's more than 15 years ago. I immersed myself in everything, my machinist was a GOD when it came to all American engines and most foreign ones, and I do know what I know. However, these guys here remind me of all the things I've forgotten, as well as teach me a thing or two every day of the week ...
