1978 pickup bed

HELP!!!

My '78 shortbed is so rusty it's about to fall off the truck. I have looked and searched everywhere I can think of and I can't find a bed to fit it. I can't find anyone who makes new ones either.

A stepside would do find if I could find one.

I'm not sure where your from but i have a good friend that has a 79 short bed that is very solid but has some dents and little rot, but all very fixable. The bed is located in ct. E-maile me at stihl044(No Email Addresses In Posts!) if interested.

I don't know where you are, but I know where there is a solid one in central Ohio. Has some dents though. You can e-mail me.

[font color=red size=2]If you would prefer a flare side bed, have you considered a bed from an 80's Ford? There is a pic of a nice '78 F150 with an 80's flareside bed on it (it's not mine, it just saw the pic). I think it looks good...
