Before you take them out wash your hands with a plain soap. I've found anything with moisturizers is harder to get off completely and ends up in your eyes.

I'm pretty bad about leaving mine in, but they come out atleast once a week while I'm in the shower (I do shower more than once a week though ), also with a few quick rinses in between. I use the acuvue advance and like them. Never really notice them unless it's dusty or I'm a little dehydrated.

Never had had a problem removing or replacing, even the first time. Now I don't even need a mirror. Oh how I hated wearing glasses...

i wore contacts for 21 years they can be the greatest thing or a big pain in the butt when something gets in your eye and you don't have any drops handy. i finally decided to get lasik about 3 months ago and this is the best thing i have ever done!! if you ever consider lasik make sure your doctor is extremely experienced at it and you'll be seeing 20/10 like me.

I've been wearing contacts since I was about 13. 14 years later no problem. I started for the first year taking them out every night, then I left them in every night, and wore them for a week. About two years into it, I'd wear them for two weeks at a time without taking them out. I've worked my way up over time to two months at a time. Usually I start seeing them get slightly cloudy, and thats when I take them out. My doctor says he can tell I wear contacts, but can't believe that I don't have any damage. He says my eyes look like someone who takes them out every night.

That said, I have had infections from time to time, but I usually just revert back to glasses for a day or two, then I'm fine.

I always heard that a two week lens was the same as a daily lens, or a monthly lens, they just stamp a diffrent name on them.

I no longer wear them for two months anymore. I usually only go a month. But I know it can be done, and my eyes are fine. Although I plan on getting lasik this year. I like being able to buy six months of lenses, and go a year on um.
