Foot emergency Brake

Would like to convert the hand brake in my 66 to a foot type brake. has anyone done this ? and if so what year did you get one out of and did it bolt in ?

I have been looking at a new Lokar setup.

I don't know of anything that will bolt into place though.

Lokar sells a custom billet aluminum foot brake for about $150.

get the setup from a 73-79 ford truck. it mounts with 6 bolts. drill 4 holes in the firewall and mount it. the other 2 bolt to the bottom of the dash.

Trapper did this conversion over at Slick 60s used a 79 unit and attached it to the kick panel

Trapper at slick 60s did this modification using a 79 assembly and attached it to the kick panel. looked pretty simple. the floor pan stayed basically the same from 65 to 79.
