Where to find a/c brackets?
Where can I find factory a/c brackets for my '73 390? I installed a/c into my '73 this past spring and it's done, except the two brackets to mount the compressor to my 390. I've struck out... I checked all the local yards for over 120 miles, FTE classifieds, called all the leads from neighbors and friends, and checked online auto salvage with no luck.
I did find that '73-76 pickup FEs have different brackets that any other FE. Car FEs are different. '72 and older pickup FEs are different too. Does anyone know of a company that reproduces them, or a salvage yard in your area that would ship them to me? I would appreciate any help. I need it to be done - it's holding up other projects under the hood.
