what gears I got?
I have an 84' f-150 2wd 6 cyl 4 speed od manual. 8.8 rear.
will someone please tell me what gears I got? thanks.

There should be a number with the letter B. Here is the list I have.
Limited Slip:
Code Man Size GVW Gear Ratio
B2 Dana 60 5300 4.10
B3 Dana 5300 3.54
B4 Dana 5300 3.73
B5 Ford 5300 4.10
B7 Dana 3.73
B6 Dana 3.55

If its an F150 with an 8.8 it should have a 3750lb load rating.
those numbers above are for 3/4tons and 1 tons.
3.08 open should be 18
3.55 open should be 19
3.08 LS is H8
3.55 LS is H9
or there should be a tag on the rear axle on one of the pan bolts that has all the info and axle ratio.

Thanks guys that's it. axle code 17. No wonder this thing slugs off the line....but it does get good gas mileage, though. But then I have to slip the clutch a little and I keep burnin 'em up. Oh, I have 27 by 9 tires.
