speaking of supercabs, has anyone looked into puting a more recent seat in the rear, i was wondering if i could fit a small bench like in the superduties 99-04.

There's been a lot of discussion about it in this forum. Unfortunately you're really limited on space back there and if the seat portion has any more depth than the bench that's already there you don't have enough leg room to sit comfortably. I did a lot of measuring and couldn't find a bench style seat to fit back there at all. Then again it's rare that I have anyone riding in the back seat so I gave up trying. I may even pull the bench and install some Supercab jump seats.
I own a 76 F250 long box 2wd 390 auto. I just bought a 79 150 long box for parts and have a line on another one plus a 77 F350 long box 2wd with a 460. I have also seen several others out in the country while driving a grain truck but haven't had time to check on them all yet. If I can get the funds and room I plan to start a 74-79 Supercab parts yard. Wish me luck.
got the rest of the pics in now, still a lot to go. Lookin at 38.5 gumbos and a dana 60. got 5 off road lights that are goin on tomorrow, and tons of other plans of course.

Theres a bench seat for a Supercab at this site I almost purchased. I then decided to have a seat from a '78 I got covered to match the aftermarket seat I have in the front. Still it's way to small back there. Pd. 100.00 for the seat and 250.00 to have it redone in the right color.
My 78 F-150 SuperCab has 3 leaf springs in the front. Anyone know if this is original or is it lifted? It does sit pretty high and all of the non lifted 77.5-79 regular cabs that Ive seen just have 2 leafs.
I have a 77.5 F-250 Supercab longbed Camper Special. Currently getting parts for restoration including Cummins, Dana 60 front, Dana 70 rear and lenghthed cab.
When I lived in Montana, I bought a 78 Ranger XLT Super Cab Camper Special. It has a 429, C-6, D 60's front & rear, NP 205, factory air, cruise. I changed all the fluids and drove it 2500 miles to Georgia the next week pulling a LOADED 20 ft trailer.
Mines a 76 F150 Ranger Super Cab with the tow package. Hideahitch, tranny cooler, PS cooler, dual batterys, trailer brakes and 5th wheel mount. Hauling all this around is a 360 2bbl automatic and a pretty clean truck to boot. The only real damage to this truck is cosmetic. And even thats pretty minor. Its just got character. The best part is the truck was only 500 bones off the lot. Its not a Dodge but its still a pretty sweet truck.
