Has anyone ever seen a Ford Super Duty plastic model kit? I am also looking for a '73-'79 kit if anyone knows of a manufacturer and/or part numbers it would be much appreciated.
i haven't found a plastic f-superduty model kit yet, i did find a die cast model kit, it isn't very good though, and i also founf a very nicely detailed model of a 1999 ford f-350 tow truck with a power stroke diesel under it's little hood, some pretty killer detail on it, it's a matchbox die cast model. i found a decent 1993 flareside with a 351 windsor in it, it's a plastic kit, very nice finished product.
i have a plastic snap-tite model of a '93 splash. i have a danbury mint metal model of a '56 f-100. i have seen some matchbox-type toys of super-dutys, mainly s/c duallys with a trailer.
I have a Danbury Mint 56 Custom F100, the yellow one with the tilt front end. Man..talk about a detailed diecast! I got it on ebay for about half of what it costs from the mint. I also have, I think, a 79 Bronco diecast model that I've never assembled. I keep forgetting to look and see what exact year it is. I know it's pretty early, that's why I jumped on it when I could. There are some plastic pieces, but the body and most of it are bare metal awaiting your color choice.
Ebay almost always has a ton of plastic models for sale. I have nearly every Bigfoot model ever made, about 4 of which I still haven't assembled.( Some are duplicates.) I should get on the ball this winter and do them. Either that or get on the ball & clean out the storeage shed and sell them.
