How Should I Set Timing?

I have a 92 F150 w 300 I6. I live at 6200 ft altitude (Colorado Springs) and was wondering what my timing should be set to. Anyone know?

From: Bonita Springs FL
10 BTDC, just like at sea level.

The computer has an air pressure sensor than compensates for the thinner air up there. No need to compensate for it with timing.

If you're asking how to set the timing, warm the truck up, remove the spout connector, and use the timing marks on the passenger side. I'm convinced that the driver's side marks are there to screw with people.

LOL

As far as the timing...I asked a similar question when I got to a higher altitude, I was told the truck's computer will adjust, just set things to the factory settings and start with that. _IF_ you need to adjust something make sure you start from the factory settings, don't try to find your own setting.
