Tranny/Engine swapping
Asking this for a friend - he has an 86 F150 2wd. 302/auto (AOD?) He wants to ditch the fuel injection and throw a carb on his engine, but not sure if there is any way to keep the tranny working properly. Isn't it computer controlled?

I Think C6, FMX And Aod Were The Only Options.

FMX was gone by then. In 1986, the only automatic overdrive was the AOD.
