Programming and Tuning's Best

hey, new to the forum, so thats good, but i wanted personal, un-biased remarks about programmers and tuners.
I have a 2004 F150, new body style, and unfortunately a 4.6; im just happy i got the truck.
Ever since i got the truck ive been mod'in in, and it's now come down to the option in determining what programmer/tuner to buy
Im posting this topic for anyone interested in programmar/tuners, anyone who has one, and anyone who knows alot about them.
Basically, what im trying to ask is that i need alot of information on the most powerful and most influencial tuner/programmer that is out there to buy. The more replies posted the better.
I post this as a broad topic, so feel free to give any advice.
In the end, i hope that we can all come to a conclusion to decide which one of these things can raise to the title, best. Its a long shot, cuz i know the variety out there, but the more replies and the more information i, and many other people may have, would be great.
thanx

I have a SuperChips Micro Tuner. Very happy with it.

I am assuming that when you state SCT you mean superchips tuner and superchips is actual chip.

In my opinion, both SCT and Diablo have excellent products while the other brand have mediocre offerings. Choosing between SCT and Diablo depends on your end goals. The newer SCT stuff offers slightly better flexibility for custom programming and the Diablo offers better real-time data logging.

How does the Edge performance compare to that of the SCT, because it seems to me that SCT has better tuning options than diablo, and the others dont contend, but no one has mentioned the edge
does anyone have one

SCT is not Superchips. SCT is a completely different company.

You generally won't get "unbiased opinions" with polls like this. Not many people have the money to waste buying 3-4 tuners to see which one they like the best.

For strategy tuning Diablo's got the most features. For custom, SCT. For us here in the shop, the jury's still out on the Edge. Its a great tuner but there are a lot of back-orders right now so there's not any customer feedback coming to us yet.
