74 Motor Just Stops

I Have A 74 Bronco 302 Auto Trans Electronic Ign. I Have 1200 Mile On Complete Restore. Problem Is When You Driving About 10 Mins The Motor Just Stops ,just Like You Turned The Switch Off, If You Turn The Switch Back To Start The Motor Starts Running Again. Tryed 2 New Ign Switches With No Change.

I had a 74 Gallaxie that would do that. IIRC there is an ingnition control module that is mounted on the wheel well that will shutdown when it overheats. Once it cools down you should be able to restart. The only fix is to replace the unit.

Sure sounds like the ignition control module... I had a 77 Bronco that would stall out without notice. Often it would start right back up, sometimes it didn't! Put a new ICM in and the problem went away. Had the same problem with a 78 CJ5.
