high/low idle fixed!

high/low idle fixed!
Had what seems to be the ford signature high/low idle.(94 I6 173000mi)
I have been reading all the posts and gathering my nerve to tackle this problem,so sunday with tools in hand started by unplugging IAC,engine died plugged it back in and problem solved!!!! Iwas so gobsmacked I went ahead and cleaned the IAC and throttle body anyway.Couldn't belive it was that easy,hope some of you with this problem will be as lucky as me.

congrats, ive been hunting my idle problem down for awhile, my truck idles fine but when i first start it up and its not cold it will stall unless i turn on the defroster. I too cleaned my tb and iac. I found that my TB gasket was half sucked in and in horrible shape but unfortunately it didnt really fix the problem I was going for. It did clean the idle up though
