alright fellas heres the issue.
56 f-100
tci mustang 2 ifs w/power
302 h.o. efi w/ aod
8.8 rear w/ nolimit leaf kit (spring perches not yet welded)
im not seeing how a straight down mount could even come close to an option
from the way im seeing it is that in order to use one i would have to notch out for steering linkage and looks like some serious firewall interference with the efi intake. so im open to options right now i have early 60's mustang pads on the engine. oh yea pics would be helpful.
You could look at Mid-Fifty if you haven't already, it has a mount that works w/most MII IFS and it has one plate that comes off the side and one that is angled off of the MII Crossmember. I used if for my 54 with a 351W AOD, and the trans crossmember I just moved where I needed it and made a spacer to make up for the difference in mounting heights. I think my Motor Side Motor Mounts were from a Falcon/Mustang or a Galaxie(been a lil bit too long sine I put the motor in). Hopefully one of these more experienced guys will have some better input on the subject.
