Well consitering the engine is all original, down to the gaskets before i got it, and the amount of dirt and crap, and how the bolt doesn't look damaged, i am hoping it is rusted.
Would a bigger impact, and some PB blaster work better or should i borrow my buddies 1" Drive Socket set?
I used to hear about a trick. You put a wrench on the head with the wrench braced against something firm. Pull the coil wire so it won't start, just tap the starter.
All u gotta do is figure out the direction of rotation.
Ya i was thinking about the starter, but figure it'd be less of a pain to do it right, then to break a ring gear or starter.
I'll try the 1" drive set today probally. I just thing my Impact doesn't have enough torque i think it is like 295ftlbs, and i can't grab hold of the balancer to stop it from moving. So i put it in 4th and caulkled the wheels, and i moved the truck i put so much force on my 15/16" wrench. Only if the parking brake cable didn't snap.
