Can brake warning lights be reset?

Can brake warning lights be reset?
Well, I replaced 1 Drivers side CV Joint and all went well. but now I have both brake warning lights on ie: red Brake and yellow rearABS warning lights on dash. When I put the caliper back on I had to depress the cylinder a little bit . Could this triggered some switch somewhere, and if so can it be reset. ? I'm carrying on from previous post Drive train problems on 95 aerostar AWD. Sorry I tried to search for this but search option doesn't seem to work right now. Thanks

That is a common problem on the Aerostar after a brake job.
