'84 BII, DS-ed & Denver emissions: worth it?
I've got an '84 BII that I've DS-ed and removed all the emissions stuff from. Since I'm moving back to Denver, I'm wondering if its worth bringing it out here and trying to get it to pass emissions or if its better to sell it and get something out here. I've sunk some money into the truck (rebuilt C5, seats, rims, etc.) and that's why I hate to part with it, but now I have to do the headgasket. It might be easier to register it at a friend's place outside of the emissions zone, but I'm not sure at this point.
Please respond only if you've had experience with the Denver emissions program. My brother-in-law's '78 F350 passed with flying colors but they use a different test on it since its older than 1981.
