dont get teh blue unless you are going to use an isolator and you will have a starting battery for the motor....its a deep cycle and needs to be cycled properly to last
i would reccomend the yellow.....i trashed my red top because i abuse my batteries....leaving the radio on for hours, lights...winching etc...mostly winching i ruined it in 2.5 yrs and got my 120 bucks back, and put it towards a yellow top....the yellow top is like a half deep cycle half starting battery, it doesnt mind being ran down

or using an isolator on your truck...you can use the deep cycle for running accesories(like a slide in camper), radio, winch, heaters, blenders etc.. and you can switch over to your starting battery to start the truck
The red is the best for normal starting and daily driver. This is the one I get.
But, as noted, if you are using a winch or if you are going to have a dual battery setup, you are better off with a yellow . Charging two different types of batteries off the same alt. is a no-no, especially in parallel without an isolator.
Puce top is the way to go, or taupe top as a good second.
Are these really new I was just at the store today fiddling with my red top that died. They may be good batteries, but I have had 2 that worked fine for a couple years and then decided to die in about a week. One good thing about them is the free replacement warranty. I would say get the yellow. They seem to be a good compromise between regular and deep cycle.
one thing that hurts the red tops is when they get ran down.....they need to be tricle charged at two amps or less....not charged up at 50-100 amps by the alternator, that is what hurts them

Yea, I noticed that on my red tops, you get a lot of whistling out of the filtered vent, even on a ten amp charge. So, I charge 2 amps until I get at least 10+ volts.
